Basically theres this girl that i think is absolutely gorgeous! I hardly know her and im sure she hardly knows me(we went to school together) but i never see her to make the move, i also know one of her close friends liked me so it looks really awkward. I want to add her on myspace/facebook and i know she's single and looking for a BF but i dont wanna sound like a stalker or anything. I just havent got the confidence at the moment. the last gf i had was 2 years ago

Just start by sending her casual "whats going on" mssages. The more you guys go back and forth and the more comfortable she gets with you then invite her out with a GROUP of your friends. The first meeting is always best in groups it will make it seem more casual and "safe"

I've done this before. Add her, then start messaging/commenting/writing on her wall. Get to know her, then someday, in the future, ask her out for Starbucks/go to a movie/go ice skating or something fun like that. Girls like confidence, so even if you don't have it...pretend like you do!

Add her on facebook. Not to seem like a stalker or anything but this way you can find out more about her and get a sense of what type of person she is. You can make a note about big events that happened at your high school and tag her in them along with other alumni of your high school, and maybe she'll respond. You can also write a "hey" message on her wall or something like that.
