We've talked through there for over a month and was starting to think whether I should ask her if she wants to hang out just to try and get things going, ya know? She lives pretty close by and seems comfortable with meeting somebody off of there. I just don't want to scare her off. So should I go for it?

Don't do it. First of all, she might not be who or what she says she is. Second, online it's so much easier to say things. Maybe you'll meet up and she'll be very shy, and you two won't click at all. It won't work, trust me.

I don't think you should, it could be just for someone who wants a fling and that's it. Someone to talk to in while they're out of school or just a summer thing.

dont ask her out through myspace, period. there is a good percentage she will say no bc all she knows about u is pretty slim, try to get a group setting and ask her if she is interested. for example tell her u gettin group tickets to see this band and if she is interested etc .... through myspace u should find out what bands she likes etc...
