I just meant this awesome girl on myspace, we live very close to each other. I commented on one of her blogs that she wrote. And she replied and said I was very sweet. We seem to have a lot in common according to the profiles, so my question is how soon should I try to ask her out or should I just talk to her for a while before I show interest? I do much better on dates than talking over the phone or e-mail, so I really want to ask her out. What should I do?

You can get together with her without it being an official "date". Just friends getting together. Since you haven't met yet in real life, that will take tons of pressure off, and who knows, maybe you won't want to pursue anything serious afterall. Do something casual during the day, rather than the night...something that would be fun no matter who you were with. There's definitely nothing wrong with having a good time with a friend. If things get off to a good start, excellent! If not, good thing it wasn't a date. :)
